Meet the Founders of Dominate the Day Foundation
Liz Johnston

I am forever proud to call myself Jordan's mother. While I've always known how special he was, once he started working with kids, it become apparent to countless others as well.
Jordan and I shared a love of learning and teaching. Starting Dominate the Day Foundation was a way for me to keep his memory alive while working to carry out his legacy. I could never have the same impact he did, but I can still share his story and help bring his vision to life.
After a decade of teaching high school, I now teach middle school writing for New Haven Public Schools and tutor students in language arts. I have enjoyed working with kids, in some capacity, for over 30 years.

Craig Sebastian

I am Craig D. Sebastian and I am blessed to call Jordan MY SON, my first born child, and I will always be his number one fan.
I retired from law enforcement (The Department of Corrections) in 2013; I am a former running back for Southern Connecticut State University and in 1994, I had the opportunity to play football in Germany for the Berlin Adler. In 1997, I began coaching youth football and in 2001 I switched to coaching high school teams throughout Connecticut.
I am committed to the work he loved.
Dante Brito, Jr.

I am Jordan's best friend, cousin and "brother" all wrapped into one. Jordan and I held very similar values, like staying positive and always having a plan or clear direction that made life more meaningful. We also had plans to ensure that kids experienced quality coaching instruction, while also having fun playing.
I graduated from Stonehill College where I also played football. I now work as the Associate Director of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, as an advisor, and a coach of varsity football and basketball at Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut.
I am motivated by the opportunity to participate in the work he so loved.
